Omega Co‑axial Master Chronometer 42 mm
Or from 680.00 /Month
This 42 mm model is crafted from stainless steel and 18K yellow gold, and includes a blue ceramic bezel with a Ceragold™ diving scale. The dial is also polished blue ceramic and features laser-engraved waves and a date window at 6 o’clock.
The skeleton hands and raised indexes are 18K yellow gold and are filled with white Super-LumiNova, while the helium escape valve has been given a conical design.
The watch is presented on a blue rubber strap and is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, which can be seen through the sapphire-crystal on the wave-edged caseback.
Anti-magnetic: The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
Ceragold: Ceragold is the result of a process that allows the incrustation of 18K gold into a ceramic bezel. The bezels made of ceramic and the Ceragold are perfectly smooth to the touch.
Chronometer: Label given to a watch which has undergone precision tests and received a certificate from an official body (COSC).
Date: The day of the month, displayed in a window on a watch dial typically at the 3 o'clock or 6 o'clock position.
Helium escape valve: Decompression system which allows helium to escape from inside the watch when the watch is worn for professional use in pressure chambers. (Long-term underwater work, crude oil exploration, etc.)
Screw-in crown: Self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case, used for highly water resistant divers' watches.
Transparent case back: A transparent case back - frequently made of sapphire - makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.
Unidirectional rotating bezel: A bezel which turns in only one direction. Particularly useful for divers who cannot accidentally rotate it in the wrong direction, which could cause them to miscalculate their dive times. A rotating bezel makes it easy to measure elapsed time.
Between lugs: 20 mm
Bracelet: rubber strap
Case: Steel ‑ yellow gold
Case diameter: 42 mm
Dial colour: Blue
Crystal: Domed scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal with anti‑reflective treatment on both sides
Water resistance: 30 bar (300 metres / 1000 feet)
